10 Things That Romans 8:38 Says Can’t Separate You From God’s Love
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Death.
Any death. Good death or horrific death. Death from cancer. Death from the electric chair. The emotional death from a lost relationship. No form of the most heinous death on the planet can separate you from God’s love. His love is eternal. Always. Forever.
Life.
The agony of it. The hardest times you face. The divorces. Doubts. Betrayals. Illnesses. Times of starvation and homelessness. Happy times. Times of plenty that take your focus off Him. Nothing that life throws at you can separate You from His love. His love is life.
Angels.
As special and radiant and beautiful and amazing as they are, not even Gabriel & Michael themselves can separate you from God’s love. The angels bow to His majestic authority and He loves you. His love is powerful.
Demons.
Not even a thousand demons circling your home can separate you from God’s love. Not even Lucifer, the king of demons, in all his conniving, lying ways can separate you from this love. His love is victorious!
The Present.
The times you want to give up, throw in the towel and hurt someone. The times when you sin. The thoughts that creep into your mind when you least expect them. The real struggles right now…the ones that paralyze you. None of them can separate you from God’s love. His love is real.
The Future.
Even if it is dark and scary and unknown. Even if 5000 nuclear wars break out and you lose everything. Nothing in the future can separate you from God’s love. His love is protection.
Any Powers.
Rulers, religious leaders, humans, supernatural beings, chemical warfare, prison systems, dictators, abusive partners, domineering parents. No power can separate you from God’s love. His love reigns eternal.
Height.
The highest-most point of Mt. Everest, the center of Jupiter, the tallest building, structure or galaxy isn’t far enough away to separate you from the love of your Savior. His love is endless.
Depth.
A grain of sand in the middle of the deepest spot of the darkest ocean can’t separate you from God’s love. Or a cup of magma from the core of the earth. Or even the furthest corner of hell at Satan’s feet. God’s love is deep.
Anything Else in All Creation.
Anything your finite mind can possibly fathom to make you feel unlovable, undesirable or worthless is covered here. So go ahead and try! You won’t be able to do it! God’s love for you defies human logic!

There is literally nothing.

Rest in that.
